About Giant fern
Pteris arborea, commonly known as Tree Brake, is a large tree fern native to the Macaronesian Islands, capable of reaching several meters in height. Its bipinnate, bright green fronds emerge from a robust trunk, creating a majestic and exotic appearance. It is ideal for shady, humid gardens in temperate climates or as a large potted indoor plant in spacious areas.

Care tips
It prefers partial to full shade, avoiding direct sunlight which can scorch its fronds. It requires consistent watering to keep the substrate constantly moist, but not waterlogged, especially during warm periods. Use a rich, well-draining, slightly acidic substrate. A common mistake is allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, which can lead to frond wilting.
