About Turnera sidoides
Turnera sidoides, commonly known as Amapolita, is a small herbaceous plant from the Turneraceae family, valued for its delicate yellow or orange flowers that open in the morning and close in the afternoon. It is an excellent choice for ground cover in rock gardens, along paths, or as a trailing plant in pots, adding a vibrant and natural splash of color. Its creeping habit and abundant flowering make it ideal for creating floral carpets in warm and sunny climates.

Care tips
It requires full sun exposure for optimal flowering, although it tolerates some partial shade in very hot climates.
