About Chuparosa
Justicia californica, commonly known as Desert Honeysuckle or Chuparosa, is a deciduous shrub native to the desert regions of the southwestern United States and Mexico. It is characterized by its striking bright red or orange bracts that enclose small tubular flowers, resembling shrimp. It is an excellent choice for xeriscape gardens, rockeries, or as an accent plant in containers, adding a vibrant splash of color.
