About Golden shrimp plant
Pachystachys lutea, commonly known as 'Golden Shrimp Plant' or 'Lollipop Plant', is a tropical shrub native to Peru, valued for its striking overlapping yellow bracts that form a candle-like spike, giving rise to many of its common names. Its delicate white flowers, emerging from these bracts, add a soft contrast. This plant is ideal for adding an exotic and vibrant touch to bright interiors or gardens in warm climates, standing out in pots or as part of a low hedge.

Care tips
It requires bright, indirect light for optimal flowering; intense direct sunlight can scorch its leaves. Keep the substrate consistently moist, but not waterlogged, especially during flowering, and slightly reduce watering in winter. Use a well-draining substrate rich in organic matter. Avoid abrupt temperature changes and cold drafts at all costs, as it is very sensitive to them and could lose its leaves and flowers.
