About Tree aeonium
Aeonium arboreum, commonly known as 'tree aeonium', is a shrubby succulent from the Crassulaceae family, valued for its glossy, fleshy leaf rosettes clustered at the ends of its stems. Its branching habit and intense green color, sometimes with reddish hues in 'Zwartkop' or 'Atropurpureum' varieties, make it ideal for adding structure and color to xeriscape gardens, large pots, or as a focal point on sunny patios.

Care tips
It requires full sun to maintain its compact shape and intense coloration, although in very hot climates it will appreciate some afternoon shade. Watering should be moderate during the growing season (spring-autumn), allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, and almost non-existent in winter when it goes dormant. Use a very well-draining substrate, specific for succulents or cacti. A common mistake is overwatering in winter, which can lead to root rot.
