Sempervivum dolomiticum, known as Dolomiten-Hauswurz, is a low-growing perennial succulent that forms dense rosettes of fleshy leaves. Its distinctive grey-green leaves, often with reddish tips, cluster into compact rosettes typically 5-10 cm in diameter. It is ideal for rock gardens, green roofs, gravel gardens, or containers, adding a resilient, alpine touch.

Eastern Alps, specifically in the Dolomites, Italy.
Care tips
It thrives in full sun to achieve its best coloration and compact growth. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as it is very sensitive to overwatering. Use a very well-draining, sandy, or specific succulent and cactus substrate. Absolutely avoid waterlogging, especially in winter, as it is the primary cause of rot.
