About Corsican stonecrop
Sedum dasyphyllum, commonly known as Corsican Stonecrop or Blue Tears Sedum, is a small, mat-forming perennial succulent. Its tiny, fleshy leaves, ranging from blue-green to grayish, often with reddish tips, give it a soft, cushion-like appearance. It is ideal for rockeries, green roofs, gravel gardens, or as a groundcover in pots and dry gardens.

This succulent thrives in full sun to partial shade, requiring at least 6 hours of direct sunlight for compact growth. Watering should be sporadic and moderate, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. It requires a very well-draining, sandy substrate or one specifically formulated for cacti and succulents. A common mistake is overwatering, which is the main cause of death in this species; it's better to underwater than to overwater.
