Sempervivum soculense, also known as Pizzocolo Hauswurz, is a small to medium-sized perennial succulent forming compact and attractive rosettes. Its fleshy leaves vary in coloration, often displaying green hues with reddish or purplish tips, especially under light stress. It is ideal for rockeries, green roofs, low-maintenance gardens, or as part of potted arrangements, providing a rustic and resilient touch.

Care tips
It requires full sun to develop its best coloration and compact form, although it tolerates some partial shade. Watering should be infrequent, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, and almost none in winter to prevent rot. It needs a very well-draining, sandy or mineral substrate, specific for succulents. A common mistake is overwatering or using heavy soil, which quickly leads to rosette rot.
