Care, watering, light and tips for Limonium dubyi on Floravia.
Limonium dubyi, commonly known as Duby's Statice, is a perennial plant from the Plumbaginaceae family, prized for its delicate and long-lasting lavender or mauve flowers. It forms low, compact clumps with branched inflorescences emerging above the foliage. It is ideal for rockeries, sunny borders, and low-maintenance gardens, as well as being an excellent cut flower for dried arrangements.

It requires full sun for abundant flowering and well-drained soil, preferably sandy or stony, with a neutral to alkaline pH. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, as it is very susceptible to waterlogging. Avoid over-fertilization, as this can promote foliage growth at the expense of flowering. A common mistake is planting it in heavy, wet soils, which quickly leads to root rot.
