About Thrift
Armeria neglecta, commonly known as Beja Thrift, is a small, perennial plant endemic to southern Portugal. It forms dense clumps of grayish-green linear leaves, from which flower stalks emerge, topped with showy, globular, intense pink inflorescences. It is ideal for rock gardens, sunny borders, or pots, adding a touch of Mediterranean color.

Care tips
It requires full sun exposure and well-drained soil, preferably sandy or slightly calcareous, as it does not tolerate waterlogging. Watering should be moderate, allowing the top layer of the substrate to dry out between waterings, and very sparse in winter. Avoid excessive moisture, especially at the base of the plant, to prevent root rot.
