About German statice
Goniolimon tataricum, commonly known as Tartar Statice or German Statice, is a low-growing perennial forming compact mounds of grey-green foliage. It produces numerous branching panicles of small, papery white or pale pink flowers that dry beautifully, making it ideal for rock gardens, sunny borders, and dried flower arrangements. Its airy texture and long-lasting blooms make it an excellent filler plant in beds or as a specimen.

This plant thrives in full sun in well-drained, preferably sandy or gravelly soils, as it is sensitive to waterlogging.
