About Statice
Limonium sinense, known as 'bu xue cao' in traditional Chinese medicine, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Plumbaginaceae family. It is characterized by its small, lavender or purple flowers clustered in branched inflorescences, giving it a delicate and ethereal appearance. It is ideal for rock gardens, border plantings, or as an ornamental potted plant, adding a touch of color and lightness.

Care tips
It requires full sun for optimal flowering, although it can tolerate some partial shade in very hot climates. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry slightly between waterings, as it is sensitive to waterlogging. It prefers well-drained soils, preferably sandy or rocky, with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH. A common mistake to avoid is excessive soil moisture, which can lead to root rot.
