About Limonium tremolsii
Limonium tremolsii, known as Trémols Sea Lavender or Statice, is a herbaceous perennial plant from the Plumbaginaceae family, endemic to coastal areas of the western Mediterranean. It is characterized by its branched inflorescences with tiny mauve or violet flowers, forming ethereal clouds highly valued in dried floral arrangements. Its delicate habit and prolonged flowering make it ideal for rock gardens, dry borders, or as an accent plant in pots.

Iberian Peninsula (mainly in the Mediterranean coast) and North Africa.
Care tips
It requires full sun exposure for abundant flowering and optimal development, tolerating some partial shade in very hot climates. This is a xerophilous plant, so watering should be sparse and infrequent, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. It prefers well-drained, sandy or stony soils with low organic matter content; a common mistake is overwatering, which can be fatal. It is not demanding in nutrients and tolerates salinity.
