About Teucrium pyrenaicum
Teucrium pyrenaicum, commonly known as Pyrenean Germander, is a small, compact perennial forming dense mats. Its leaves are small, oval, and grayish-green, often with a slight downy texture. It produces pale white or pink flowers in terminal spikes, appearing in spring and early summer, making it ideal for rockeries, path edges, or Mediterranean-style gardens.

Pyrenees, northwest Iberian Peninsula, and southern France
Care tips
It prefers full sun exposure for abundant flowering, although it tolerates light partial shade. It is very drought-tolerant once established, requiring moderate and infrequent watering, especially in summer. It needs well-drained soil, preferably calcareous and low in nutrients. A common mistake is overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
