This viper's-bugloss thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6 hours of direct light daily for optimal flowering. It is extremely drought-tolerant once established, so watering should be sparse, allowing the substrate to dry completely between waterings. It prefers well-drained soils, even poor or sandy ones, and the main mistake to avoid is overwatering, which can rot its roots. It does not require regular fertilization.
