About Azalea
Rhododendron simsii, commonly known as Florist's Azalea, is an evergreen shrub prized for its spectacular and abundant winter and spring blooms. Its flowers, ranging from pure white to intense reds and purples, make it ideal for adding color to indoor spaces during colder months or as a patio plant in temperate climates. Its compact and dense habit makes it an excellent choice for pots and containers.

Care tips
It requires bright, indirect light; avoid direct sun which can scorch its leaves. Keep the substrate consistently moist but not waterlogged, using lime-free or rainwater, and avoid letting the plant dry out completely between waterings. It prefers an acidic, well-draining substrate, ideally an azalea or ericaceous mix. A common mistake is watering with high-lime tap water, which can lead to chlorosis and affect its blooming.
