About Golden rhododendron
Rhododendron aureum, commonly known as Rosebay or golden rhododendron, is an evergreen shrub native to Asia, prized for its striking yellow or yellowish-white flowers that appear in spring. Its leaves are leathery and glossy dark green, making it an excellent specimen for woodland gardens, rockeries, or as part of an ornamental hedge in cool, humid climates. It adds a touch of vibrant color and interesting texture to the landscape.

Care tips
It prefers partial shade or filtered light, as direct sun can scorch its leaves. Keep the soil consistently moist but well-drained, using rainwater or demineralized water if possible, as it is sensitive to chlorine. It requires an acidic substrate (pH 4.5-5.5) rich in organic matter and well-aerated; avoid heavy, alkaline soils.
