About Coastal prickly pear
Opuntia littoralis, commonly known as Coastal Prickly-pear, is a sprawling or shrubby cactus that forms dense thickets. Its bright green, spiny pads (cladodes) produce yellow flowers followed by edible purple fruits. It is ideal for xeriscapes, rock gardens, or as a low-maintenance plant in coastal areas.
