About Blue candle
Myrtillocactus geometrizans, also known as bilberry cactus or blue candle cactus, is a fast-growing columnar cactus native to Mexico. It develops branched, bluish-green stems that can reach significant heights, eventually forming a tree-like shape. It's an excellent choice for desert gardens, rockeries, or as a focal plant in large containers, adding an architectural and exotic aesthetic.

Care tips
This cactus thrives in full sun for optimal growth and good coloration; insufficient light can lead to etiolated growth. Water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry, significantly reducing watering in winter to prevent root rot. A common mistake is overwatering, especially in cold climates or during winter, which is often fatal for this species.
