About Easter lily cactus
Echinopsis oxygona, also known as the pink Easter-lily cactus, is a fast-growing globular cactus that produces large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers, typically in shades of pink or white, during spring and summer. It's an excellent choice for cactus gardens, rockeries, or as a potted plant on balconies and terraces, adding a vibrant touch with its spectacular blooms. Its spherical to ovoid shape and well-defined ribs give it a sculptural appeal even when not in flower.

South America: southern Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, and northern Argentina.
Care tips
This cactus thrives in full sun to bright partial shade for abundant flowering, though it should be protected from the most intense direct summer sun. Water moderately during spring and summer, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and drastically reduce watering in autumn and winter. It requires a very well-draining substrate, specific for cacti, to prevent waterlogging and root rot. A common mistake is overwatering, especially in winter, which quickly leads to rot.
