About Cereus
Cereus forbesii, commonly known as 'Ucle', is a branched columnar cactus that can reach considerable heights in its natural habitat. It stands out for its bluish-green stems and short spines, creating an architectural silhouette. It is ideal for cactus gardens and xeriscaping, or as a standalone specimen in large pots on sunny patios.

South America, specifically in Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay.
Care tips
It requires full sun for optimal growth and abundant flowering. Watering should be moderate in summer, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, and almost none in winter to prevent rot. Use a very well-draining substrate, specific for cacti. A common mistake is overwatering, especially in colder months, which quickly leads to root problems.
