About Drooping prickly pear
Opuntia monacanthos, also known as the cochineal prickly-pear, is a shrubby cactus with bright green flattened pads that can develop reddish hues with sun exposure. It produces yellow flowers followed by edible red fruits. It's ideal for xeriscape gardens, rockeries, or as a potted plant on sunny balconies and terraces.
