About Soda inermis
Soda inermis, also known as Soda Saltwort, is an annual halophytic plant native to Mediterranean coasts, valued for its tolerance to saline soils. Its succulent stems and bright green fleshy leaves make it ideal for coastal gardens or xeriscaping. It has been traditionally cultivated for its sodium-rich ash, used in glass and soap making, and is also edible.

It requires full sun for optimal growth and thrives in well-drained, preferably sandy or saline soils.
