Salicornia perennis, also known as Sarcocornia perennis or Perennial Glasswort, is a perennial succulent plant belonging to the Amaranthaceae family, native to coastal areas and salt marshes. It is characterized by its fleshy, segmented green stems that can develop reddish hues with sun exposure, forming dense, creeping mats. It is ideal for coastal gardens, saline rockeries, or as an ornamental plant in pots, offering a unique and resilient aesthetic to challenging environments.

Care tips
This plant thrives in full sun for optimal growth and good stem coloration.
