About Tall sunflower
Helianthus giganteus, commonly known as Tall Sunflower or Giant Sunflower, is an imposing perennial plant native to North America, capable of reaching heights of up to 4 meters. It is characterized by its strong, sturdy stems supporting large yellow flowers with dark centers, blooming in late summer and early autumn. It's ideal for the back of sunny borders, as a natural screen, or for attracting pollinators to cottage or wild-style gardens.

Care tips
It requires full sun (at least 6 hours daily) and well-drained, fertile, and moist soil. Although it tolerates dry periods once established, regular watering during droughts will promote its development. Avoid excessive nitrogen fertilization, as it can promote foliage growth at the expense of flowering and weaken stems, making them more prone to falling. No pruning is needed, but spent flowers can be removed for a tidier appearance.
