About Cape ivy
Delairea odorata, commonly known as German Ivy, is a fast-growing perennial vine with bright green, lobed leaves resembling true ivy. It is ideal for covering walls or fences in temperate gardens, as well as for hanging baskets or as an indoor plant if its spread is managed. Its small, inconspicuous yellow flowers emit a soft, sweet fragrance, especially in the evening.

It prefers bright, indirect light or partial shade; intense direct sunlight can scorch its leaves. Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging, allowing the top layer to dry out slightly between waterings. Use a well-draining, organic-rich potting mix.
