About Fleabane
Erigeron speciosus, commonly known as Glorious Daisy or "praktbakkestjerne" in Norwegian, is a robust perennial herb that produces a profusion of daisy-like flowers with fine lavender to blue-violet petals and a bright yellow center. It forms compact clumps of green foliage and is ideal for garden borders, rockeries, or as ground cover, adding a vibrant and natural touch. Its abundant blooms in late spring and summer attract pollinators, making it an excellent addition to wildlife gardens.

Care tips
It requires full sun for optimal flowering, although it tolerates some partial shade in very hot climates. Watering should be regular during dry periods, especially in its first year, but once established, it is quite drought-tolerant. It prefers well-drained, moderately fertile soils; waterlogging is a common mistake that can lead to root rot. To prolong flowering and keep the plant tidy, deadheading spent blooms is recommended.
