About Fern grass
Catapodium rigidum, commonly known as rigid grass or steingras, is a small to medium-sized annual grass forming dense tufts of narrow, upright leaves. Its flower spikes are rigid and compact, giving it a distinctive appearance. It is ideal for rock gardens, gravel gardens, or as ground cover in poor, dry soils, where its hardiness and low maintenance are an advantage.
