About Vriesea zamorensis
Vriesea zamorensis is an epiphytic bromeliad native to the tropical rainforests of Ecuador, known for its vibrant and long-lasting inflorescence emerging from a rosette of green leaves. Place it in a location with bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sun that could scorch its leaves. Keep the central 'tank' of the rosette filled with clean water and water the substrate only when it's almost dry, ensuring good drainage. It prefers a light, airy substrate, such as an orchid or bromeliad mix, and avoid overwatering the substrate to prevent root rot. Do not expose it to temperatures below 15°C (59°F), as it is very sensitive to cold.
