About Rowan
Aria obtusifolia, also known as Norsk asal, is a medium-sized deciduous tree native to Scandinavia, valued for its dense foliage and pyramidal shape. Its leaves are glossy dark green on the upper side and whitish and tomentose on the underside, offering an attractive contrast. It is ideal for moderate-sized gardens, parks, or as a street tree in temperate zones, providing an elegant touch and resilience to harsh conditions.

Care tips
It prefers full sun to partial shade for optimal growth and flowering. It tolerates a wide range of soils well, as long as they are well-drained, although it prefers slightly acidic to neutral ones. Avoid waterlogging, as it is susceptible to root rot in excessively wet soils.
