About Tormentil
Potentilla erecta × reptans is a natural hybrid of potentillas, combining the hardiness of Potentilla erecta with the creeping habit of Potentilla reptans. It forms low, spreading mats with small, five-petaled yellow flowers, ideal for ground cover in rock gardens, along paths, or as a carpeting plant in sunny or semi-shady areas. Its dark green, often lobed foliage provides interesting texture for much of the year.
