About Carolina mosquitofern
Azolla caroliniana, also known as Carolina mosquitofern or Großer Algenfarn, is a small, free-floating aquatic fern that forms dense green mats on the water's surface. Its tiny, overlapping leaves give it a velvety appearance, and it can develop reddish hues under strong light. It is ideal for ponds, aquariums, or water features as a decorative element and to help control algae.
