This species thrives in full sun and is extremely tolerant of drought and saline soils. Watering should be minimal once established, as overwatering can be detrimental. It prefers sandy or well-drained soils and does not require regular fertilization. Avoid planting it near freshwater systems or in areas where its spread could become invasive, as it is known for its high colonization capacity.
