About Helianthemum teneriffae
Helianthemum teneriffae, also known as Agache's Sun Rose, is a low-growing, branched subshrub endemic to Tenerife, forming compact mounds with small, grayish leaves and bright yellow flowers. It is ideal for rockeries, xeriscape gardens, or as ground cover in sunny areas, adding a wild and resilient touch. Its flowering, though ephemeral, is very striking.

Endemic to Tenerife, Canary Islands.
Care tips
It requires full sun exposure for optimal growth and abundant flowering. Watering should be very scarce, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, as it is extremely drought-tolerant. It needs well-drained soil, preferably sandy or stony, and poor in organic matter. Avoid overwatering at all costs, as it is the main cause of root rot in this species.
