Cistus laurifolius, or Laurel-leaved Cistus, is a robust and aromatic evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean region. It requires full sun exposure for optimal flowering and healthy development. It is extremely drought-tolerant once established, so watering should be sparse, especially in summer.
