About Cretan cistus
Cistus creticus, commonly known as Cretan rockrose, is an evergreen perennial shrub native to the Mediterranean region, valued for its attractive pink or purple flowers with yellow centers. It forms a dense, rounded shrub up to 1 meter tall and wide, ideal for rock gardens, dry slopes, or as part of a xeriscape landscape. Its abundant flowering in spring and early summer adds a vibrant and natural touch to any sunny space.

Care tips
It requires full sun for optimal flowering and healthy development; partial shade may reduce blooming. This plant is very drought-tolerant once established, so watering should be sparse, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings.
