About Ramie
Ramie (Boehmeria nivea) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Urticaceae family, primarily renowned for its extremely strong and lustrous textile fibers. It features large, oval, dark green leaves on the upper surface, with a silvery, velvety underside, which gives it ornamental appeal. It looks spectacular in tropical or subtropical gardens, as well as in large pots on sheltered patios, where its vibrant foliage can be admired.
