Care tips
It requires bright, indirect light; avoid intense direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves. Use a well-draining, slightly acidic potting mix. A common mistake is overwatering or pouring water directly onto the tuber, which is fatal to the plant.

- Yellow, soft leaves, drooping stems, soft, wet bulbs. Limp, as if wilted, but the soil is moist.
- First aid
- Remove withered flowers and leaves. Check the bulb; if soft, cut off affected parts. New, well-draining substrate. Bottom watering.
- What kills it
- Overwatering and poor drainage. Does not tolerate waterlogging or water on the bulb. Also excessive heat.
