Nepenthes faizaliana, also known as Faizal's Nepenthes, is a striking carnivorous pitcher plant native to the highlands of Borneo. It is characterized by its large, robust pitchers that often display a wide mouth and a ribbed peristome, with colors ranging from green to dark reddish hues. This species makes an excellent choice for large terrariums or warm, humid greenhouses, where its hanging pitchers can be fully showcased.

It requires bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sun exposure which could scorch the leaves and pitchers. Keep the substrate consistently moist with distilled or rainwater, without allowing it to dry out completely between waterings. Use a well-draining and aerated substrate, such as a mix of peat, perlite, and orchid bark; avoid nutrient-rich substrates. A common mistake is insufficient ambient humidity, which can hinder pitcher development.
