About Portulaca
Portulaca trituberculata, known as "Pourpier à trois tubercules", is a low-growing herbaceous succulent, valued for its small, fleshy leaves and vibrant yet ephemeral flowers. Its underground tubers allow it to store water, giving it exceptional drought resistance. It's ideal for rock gardens, ground cover, or hanging baskets where its trailing habit can be showcased.

It requires full sun for abundant flowering and compact growth. Watering should be sparse, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings to prevent tuber rot.
