About Asafoetida
Ferula narthex, commonly known as asafoetida, is a robust perennial herb belonging to the Apiaceae family, native to the mountainous regions of Central Asia. It is characterized by its large, divided leaves and yellow, umbel-shaped inflorescences that can reach heights of up to 3 meters.
