About Krauss' spikemoss
Selaginella kraussiana, commonly known as Krauss' Spikemoss or Spreading Clubmoss, is a delicate-looking yet surprisingly resilient trailing plant. Its fine, branching stems form a dense mat of tiny, bright green leaves, often with golden or coppery hues depending on the variety. It is ideal for terrariums, moist shade gardens, or as a groundcover beneath other plants, providing a fine texture and a lush touch.

Care tips
This plant requires very high and constant ambient humidity; dryness is its greatest enemy. Place it in a spot with bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight which can scorch its delicate fronds. The substrate should always be moist but well-drained; a mix rich in organic matter is ideal. A common mistake is allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, which will lead to rapid deterioration of the plant.
