About Rosea ice plant
Lampranthus roseus, commonly known as Rose Lampranthus, is a low-growing perennial succulent belonging to the Aizoaceae family, native to South Africa. It forms dense mats of fleshy, grey-green leaves and produces a profusion of bright pink, daisy-like flowers during spring and summer. It is ideal for rockeries, sunny borders, or as ground cover in Mediterranean gardens, adding a vibrant splash of color.

This plant thrives in full sun and requires at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal flowering. Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, and drastically reduced in winter. Use a well-draining substrate, preferably a cactus and succulent mix. Avoid overwatering at all costs, as it is the most common cause of root rot in this species.
