About Pink carpet
Lampranthus blandus, commonly known as the delightful Lampranthus, is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial succulent native to South Africa. Its fleshy leaves and bright pink or purple flowers, which appear in spring and summer, make it ideal for rockeries, coastal gardens, or as ground cover in warm, sunny climates. Care tips
It requires full sun for optimal flowering and very well-drained soil, preferably sandy or gravelly, as it is extremely sensitive to waterlogging. Watering should be sparse, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings; it is more tolerant of drought than overwatering. Avoid over-fertilizing and high ambient humidity, as this can lead to root rot and fungal diseases.
