About Pothos
Pothos scandens, also known as Vahi tampini, is a tropical vine from the Araceae family, native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its glossy, heart-shaped leaves and its ability to elegantly climb or trail, making it ideal for hanging baskets, high shelves, or for covering a moss pole indoors. Its dense, lush foliage adds a vibrant touch of greenery to any space.

Southeast Asia, from the Indian subcontinent to southern China, Australia, and the western Pacific islands.
Care tips
It thrives in bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sun which can scorch its leaves. Water when the top inch (2-3 cm) of the soil is dry, and ensure good drainage to prevent waterlogging. Use a well-aerated, organic-rich potting mix. A common mistake is overwatering, which can lead to root rot; it's better to let the soil dry out slightly between waterings.
