About Aztec lily
Sprekelia formosissima, also known as Aztec Lily or Jacob's Lily, is an ornamental bulbous plant from the Amaryllidaceae family, native to Mexico. It is renowned for its spectacular crimson-red flowers with recurved petals, reminiscent of an orchid. It is ideal for pots, sunny borders, and as a cut flower in temperate climate gardens.

Care tips
It requires full sun for abundant flowering and well-drained soil, preferably sandy with some organic matter. Water regularly during growth and flowering, allowing the top layer of the substrate to dry slightly between waterings; reduce watering during the dormancy period.
