Care, watering, light and tips for Acis valentina on Floravia.
Acis valentina, also known as Autumn Snowflake or Rock Campanula, is a charming perennial bulbous plant that graces the landscape with its delicate, bell-shaped white flowers during autumn. Native to the Mediterranean region, its elegance and late-season bloom make it perfect for rock gardens, borders, or pots, where its nodding flowers can be admired up close.
Endemic to the Valencian Community, Spain
It thrives in full sun to light partial shade and requires well-drained soil, preferably sandy or rocky, to prevent waterlogging, which is its main adversary. Watering should be moderate during its growth and flowering period in autumn, drastically reducing or suspending it in summer when the plant is dormant. A common mistake is overwatering during summer, which leads to bulb rot.
