About Ponytail palm
Beaucarnea stricta, also known as 'Bottle Palm' or Elephant's Foot, is an arboreal succulent native to Mexico. It is characterized by its distinctive swollen trunk base, which stores water, and a rosette of long, slender leaves at the top. It makes an excellent choice for bright indoor spaces or as a focal point in warm climate gardens.

Care tips
It requires bright light, even full sun, to thrive and maintain its compact shape. Watering should be moderate, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, as it is very susceptible to overwatering. Use a well-draining substrate, ideally a cactus and succulent mix. A common mistake is overwatering, which can lead to trunk rot.
