Yucca potosina, known as Izote potosino, is a native Mexican yucca species, valued for its sturdy trunk and rigid, lance-shaped leaves that form a rosette. Care tips
It requires full sun for optimal growth and abundant flowering. Watering should be sporadic and deep, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, as it is very susceptible to overwatering. Use a very well-draining substrate, preferably sandy or for cacti and succulents. Absolutely avoid waterlogging, which is the most common cause of root rot in this species.
