About Bamboo orchid
Arundina graminifolia, commonly known as the Bamboo Orchid, is a fast-growing terrestrial orchid native to tropical Asia. It is characterized by its slender, bamboo-like stems and showy flowers, typically lavender to pink with a darker lip, which bloom successively. It is ideal for tropical gardens or as a potted plant in warm climates, adding an exotic and elegant touch.

Care tips
It requires plenty of direct sunlight to bloom profusely, although it appreciates slight shade during the hottest midday hours. Watering should be frequent and abundant during the growing season, keeping the substrate moist but well-drained, and reduced in winter. Use a well-drained substrate, such as a terrestrial orchid mix or a combination of garden soil with perlite and bark. A common mistake is not providing enough light, resulting in sparse or no flowering.
